Getting Started
This plugin requires Grunt >=0.4.1
If you haven't used Grunt before, be sure to check out the Getting Started guide, as it explains how to create a Gruntfile as well as install and use Grunt plugins. Once you're familiar with that process, you may install this plugin with this command:
npm install grunt-eol --save-dev
Once the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:
grunt;
The "eol" task
Overview
In your project's Gruntfile, add a section named eol
to the data object passed into grunt.initConfig()
.
grunt
Options
options.eol
Type: String
Default value: 'lf'
The line ending you would like to convert to.
options.replace
Type: Boolean
Default value: false
If true
replace the source file.
Usage Examples
Default Options
In this example, the default options are used to convert the files to lf
line endings.
grunt
Custom Options
In this example, custom options are used to convert all files to crlf
.

In this example, custom options are used to convert all files to crlf
with inline file replacement.
