application.mixin.emitter

Application Framework Mixin: adds eventing to the application.

Added Properties and Methods

Property "emitter"

Holds an instance of Node's EventEmitter.

Method "on"

Reference the EventEmitter's "on" method.

Method "emit"

Reference the EventEmitter's "emit" method.

Usage

Your application project has to build upon the application.skeleton and you only have to set the new dependency:

npm install application.mixin.emitter --save

The application.skeleton will do all the work adding the Mixins as this one.

Simply use the new functionality:

  emit: <this.emitter.emit>,
  on: <this.emitter.on>
}
